The Chilean Experience

Back in September of 2011, I was chosen along with 4 other wine professionals to

visit the wine regions of Chile and take part in a Chilean Experience. We were hosted by Wines of Chile and the trip proved to be informative and eye opening. I never had the chance to post the notes of the hundreds of wines that we tasted. However, if anyone is interested in reading them I have found an outlet for you. My travel companion, Chris Lavin has posted the highlights of the trip on his blog. Chris has a wealth of knowledge and I learned so much from him. He was the one that asked all the pertinent questions and allowed for the winemakers to divulge their passion for their wines. Chris is currently sitting in for his Master Sommelier Certification and also provides excellent study materials for anyone interested in pursuing their Sommelier Certification.
